Another Day, Another Movie

*VALENTINES DAY* PG-13. I couldn't wait to see this movie because of the all-star cast. I really did like it. Ann Hathaway was a crack-up. It was fun and entertaining. So what is it about Valentines Day that makes people hate it? I think men hate it cuz they can't stand the pressure of making sure they don't blow it and are never sure what they're supposed to do to not blow it. Women hate it cuz their man doesn't do what they think they should to prove their undying love and gratitude. What is it we women want? I don't need my man to spend a fortune on me. I just want him to not go on about how much he hates Valentines day because it's so commercialized and its just another day for the stores to make money and that he doesn't need a day to say he loves me, that he loves me every day of the year blah blah blah. Just look into my eyes and tell me how awesome and beautiful I am and that you love me more than life itself. And then give me a love letter that says your so glad there is a day set aside to make me feel as special as I am. Is that too much to ask? :) uh um... good movie....4 diamonds****

*WOLFMAN* R. I had great expectations for this one and was somewhat disappointed. Thought there would be some kind of twist to the typical werewolf story this time but it was a bunch of the same old. The best part was watching him transform, that was cool. 2 1/2 diamonds.**

ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER MOVIE

Well it's been too long since I've put my two cents in about the movies so i don't know where to begin. I have gone to the movies every Friday since I've been here. I don't have my diamonds so I will use stars for now.

*AVATAR* PG-13. I saw this for the 3rd time today. I love this movie! It has it all. Romance, suspense, scary, sad, action, a villain that you hate, and at some points it makes you feel jubilant and triumphant. The colors and graphics are so amazing. I highly recommend it, but 3-D on the Imax screen is a must! 5 diamonds. *****

*LEGION* R. Weird, freaky, scary, disturbing, gross, yet intriguing with pretty good graphics so I'm giving it 2 diamonds. **

*THE BOOK OF ELI* R. I thought this was really good. It has some good messages and some paralells to our beliefs as mormons. I do love Denzel Washington, and Gary Oldman is such an awesome bad guy. It's mainly R because of violence. Good movie. 4 diamonds. ****

*TO PARIS WITH LOVE* R. I've said it before and I'll say it again, John Travolta plays an amazing bad guy!!! He is a really bad a-- good guy in this one. He says the F-word a ton which is ridiculous. Johnathin Rhys Myers is really good, they make a good team. Pretty predictable but action packed. It's ok. Not great. 3 diamonds. ***

*When IN ROME* PG-13. Kinda lame and corny but entertaining and fun. Predictable too. 2 diamonds. **

Gotta go for now, getting kicked out of moms house. More later.

Of course I would put you up Michele! :)
