I gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, 8 lbs. 12 oz, becoming a mother for the first time, and life as I knew it would never be the same! He's been a joy since the day he was born and we've always had a close bond. He treats me like a queen and always hugs me. I will miss those hugs the most...Happy Birthday Brandon! I love you!

- I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I've been married to Jeff - the love of my life, for almost 21 years. I'm the mother of four beautiful and amazing kids. Brandon is 19, Elise is 17, Erika is 14 and Bryce is 11. I love to spend time with my family, go to movies, play games, go to movies, go out to eat and go to movies. I love diet cherry coke, music, especially soft rock and religious music. I hate grumpy people, bad service and other people's hands in bags of potato chips. I love to go on Cruises...Oh, and I really love to go to movies!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRANDON!!! HOLY COW, I can't believe you're 19!! I will be so sad to say good-bye to you soon but SOOOOOOOOOO proud of you!! For your (and everyone's) viewing pleasure I would like to announce some of my favorite "baby Brandon" moments. Back from the time when we were the BEST BUDDIES EVER and there was no cooler Aunt in the world than me - I can't believe how long ago that seems.
us: "Brandon, show us your German"
Brandon: "ock-day-yeeber"
Brandon: "mom, I think we need two tv's."
Shar: "why do you think we need two tv's"
Brandon: "Because we need two tv's"
(same day - or within 2 days later Jeff brings home another tv out of the blue!)
Brandon: "Mom, can we go get a sno-shack today"
Shar: "no, not today, maybe tomorrow"
Brandon: "Oh, I AM WAITING!!!"
I love you Brandon, you are such an incredible kid. Thank you for being so cute with my kids. Letting Gabe chase you around the house and the ultimate snowman experience you gave Joshua. I hope my boys turn out just like you!
Happy birthday Brandon! Good luck with the mission prep and if you're taking votes on where people think you'll go put me down for......Chile!
You're right, Shar. It is apparent to anyone who has spent time with your family that Brandon has been an exceptional teen, especially in the way he responds to his parents. I am so excited to hear about the mission call! Happy Birthday, to the teen who so willingly wore my bra recently! And my heels! :)
WOW! B-boys 19 crazy! Brandon your mom is so proud and I wonder if she was able to make that post without crying! I don't want my boys to grow up! OK I know they do but hopefully they can see the wonderful example Brandon has been! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Charlotte and family.
Happy,Happy birthday, Brandon! Wow, this IS weird.....I remember when you were starting kindergarten. What a shining example you are to all the little kids in your life! Mine included! EVERYBODY loves Brandon, and for good reason! In our family, on your birthday, we first sing like 20 different birthday songs, ( I can pay up on that when we get back from NY)then we go around and everybody says one "I remember when" and 1 "I like the birthday person because...." So here are mine. I remember several years ago I asked Elise to babysit. She couldn't, and when Brandon overheard that he volunteered to! What a cool kid! A teenage boy who offers to babysit???? Amazing! I like Brandon for many reasons.....first, he's just a good, good kid, and a fantastic example to my boys. Second, he can find humor in just about anything. Third, he has the patience of a saint, and last but not least....he's always been comfortable talking to adults. He was never the typical teenager that looks at their feet and mumbles in your direction. Here's to you Brandon....you are so loved! Happy 19th!
I love this kid. I just wish that he would get in more trouble so that we had something to talk about!
