Guess who we saw!!!
Last Wednesday at approximately 4:45 a.m. I got to see my cute son before he flew off into the sunrise to Alabama. It had been 21 days since we had seen him and it was so great. He is doing so amazing and is so happy. We got to visit for about 45 minutes before we had to say good-bye. He really enjoyed the MTC and made some good friends. The good-byes were much easier than at the MTC, but it was hard for me to watch him walk away and know that I really don't get to see him now for 2 years. He is so excited to get to work in Alabama and I think he is going to touch many, many lives there. Here are the pics of us at the airport, and then the pics of him at the MTC that we got off of his SD card. So fun. I can't believe that my son is on a mission?! WOW! Doesn't he look cute with his name badge on? Here is his address in Alabama if anyone wants to send him a letter, he LOVES letters!

Oh does that bring back memories. What a blessing to have a missionary and know the angels are watching over him. He already looks more mature! I sure hope you keep up the blog with missionary news, along with info from the other three kids also. Such an adorable family.
Very cool. I'm actually flying to Birmingham Alabama in December. If you would like me to break some mission rules I can take something to him for you. Let me know
Isn't it fun how missionaries are always smiling so hugely that their faces look like they're going to crack! Congratulations on raising such a great young man.

Sharla How fun! He looks so happy. I sure wish I could have been to his farewell. I guess you heard why I couldn't be there. But I was definitely there in spirit. Love you guys and miss you.

LOL!! I love all the jumping pictures. And I love that all the furniture at the MTC hasn't changed in the last 8 years. Classic!
